Well, I went down to the festivities at Town Center this afternoon with a dear friend and couldn't find a place to park. I tried parking in the businesses parking since it was after hours but there were cops handing out parking tickets. So I didn't get to join in on the festivities and my friend got out to visit a vendor so I had to drive around the square about a hundred times. Why are the businesses that are closed letting people park. I surely didn't want a ticket. There should be a way to park without getting a citation from one of Kingwoods finest. Did anyone make it out to the festivities and where did you park??? I'm just abit sad that I couldn't park anywhere out of the square without worrying about being fined.
@Peoples: You would be mistaken. Police cannot write parking tickets for parking in a private lot (other than a fire lane violation). Is this just your assumption or do you have proof? If they were hired by the private lot to tell people not to park there, the business was doing you a favor because they can tow your car without the police being present.  Its their private lot and they can tell you not to park there just like to can tell people not to park in your driveway.
