During last week's storm, the lake came up about 4 feet and deposited trash in various spots between the Greenbelt and the water along about 500 ft of lakefront. There is not that much but it is scattered rather than in a single shoreside line. When the grass cutters come out to do a long overdue cutting job, they will probably chop up all those urethane cups which will then scatter by the wind all over the area. There are 1-2 bags of trash out there. I would do it but I pulled my back and it hurts to bend. Can somebody please give us a hand. Full bags will be picked up if you leave them by the permanent garbage cans. Many thanks in advance. This is the area parallel to Scenic Shore Drive in Kings Point.Big LouFor background info on this continuing project, please see my posts of 3/14 to 3/16 and the kind replies. 4951

In a related item, there are some teenagers who are speeding up and down the Lakeside area in a golf cart. It's very dangerous and the rules don't allow motorized vehicles to start with. I've seen them drop garbage too. They also tear up and down streets in Kings Point. Does anyone know who they are? 4951

The grass out by Lake HOuston is cleaned up now. Thanks to all who lent a hand with picking up and filling the garbage cans. No the only thing needing attention is for the KPTA to get their crew out their to clean up the storm-fallen branches. There is one trashy spot left by the east end entrance to the woods right along the water. Trash accumulates there in the water and the adjacent land. I found some teens having an open fire about 100 yards into the woods...not very safe with the wind blowing that day and they had nothing to put out the fire in case it spread. That's all for now. Thanks for the Lake Beautification.PS Still working the Magnolia issue. 4951
