I have an amazing travel agent. I wouldn't have been able to booked such a seamless trip. We booked airfare, she did the rest. Inbox me if you want her info. She is worth her weight in gold! 4951

When we went the timeshare people were relentless, but since we enjoy touring resorts and have no problem saying NO we took advantage of their free offers. We went 4 wheeling (lots of fun!), took the glassbottom boat and snorkling tour, has a spa day at one of the resorts, and did a dinner cruise all for free just by sitting through some presentations at the various resorts. It was great! 4951

Yeah, they do make you go to timeshare presentations....but I didn't find it high pressure. You get a lot of perks for going to it. We got comped a golf round that would have cost over 300 bucks. 4951

@Maisey1: We have such a limited amount of time there - 3 days, I have no plan to sit through a sales pitch...  Mainly going for some much needed R&R

@cgm10sne1:

Towards the end of our visit we figured out that we could pretty much do whatever we wanted just by agreeing to go on a presentation. We wanted to do the 4 wheeling so the next guy that approached us we told him - sure we'll view your property but we want to go 4 wheeling and we will be hungry so we want a $50 gift certificate for dinner and then he even threw in a bottle of tequila. 4951

We love Cabo!  Have been quite a few times.  Finisterra is a nice hotel but I haven't stayed there in 15 years.  It's right in the middle of everything so that's a good thing.   We now stay in Punta Ballena which is a resort in the corridor area - not right smack in the middle of town.  It's absolutely beautiful!  4951

We went 2yrs ago right before the hurricanes smashed up the place and stayed at an airbnb rental right on the marina . It was really nice to stroll the marina withplenty of bars and restaurants to choose from .
One of the days we went on a four wheeler tour that takes you from the desert all the way down to the beach and part of the deal was zip lining in the desert across some canyons . It was physically demanding to hike to the next launch site with a hangover from hell but they supplied plenty of water . We also chartered a small boat to take a tour out to the arches and a near by beach . The kids went parasailing while I stayed on the boat and drank a few beers . Overall it's a great place the water will be a little on the Chilly side right now but plenty to do and see . Have fun ! 4951
