Just wondering if there is any kind of map available showing the routes of the trails. I've searched online but found nothing. 4951

I do remember seeing one in the past.  It was a hard copy not online.  Maybe the Kingwood Service Association would have some.  Here is their contact info:Kingwood Service Association1075 Kingwood DriveSuite 100Kingwood, Texas 77339281-358-5192 - Phone281-359-8067 - FaxOffice Hours 9:00 am until 5:00 pm M-F 4951

When we first moved here- they kept running out of maps so I figured it out old school- got lost a lot but also figured out how to get around. I think I've travelled on every green belt in KW. I'd probably get lost in NWH as I've only been through there a couple of times. I still get confused in Kings Forest too. Now most of travels take me into Atascocita 4951

I got to see a lot more of the greenbelts after I joined Kingwood Fit. I'd like to eventually explore all 75+ miles. 4951

When at home, you should memorize and be able to point to where North is. Try it now. In a few rooms.

Outside, remember "E-W": Sun rises in East, sets in West.

Then combine both.

If you can always point North (you feel it on instinct after a few tries), you'll always know where home is. 4951

@POTUS:  That usually works very well for me, but since Kingwood has so many curvy, non-squared streets, I can still get lost.

@OldGuy: I've been on most of the trails and only got lost once - while running. I was coming from Woodland Hills and planning to turn around at Deerwood Elementary in Sand Creek so when I found myself almost to Mills Branch Rd looking at Riverchase I knew I had made a wrong turn somewhere. I ended up doing a 9 mile run that day - in the rain...I tried showing my girls how to get around Kingwood on the trails with their bikes, but they just weren't all that interested. I guess the days of getting on a bike in Elm Grove to visit your friend in Kings Lake are over...

You can use Google maps and set it Bike and it will show the trails.  Some are incorrect I have found however but for the most part they work.   4951
