What is that really pretty purple plant I've seen around Kingwood? They're low and look like they spread. Purple leaves, vine like.

If you talking about the bushes that are spanning the bridge on Adam St headed out of the back of the neighborhood, that's Loropetalum. It does well in sun or shade and can be maintained to stay low and compact or spread into a bigger hedge type bush. It's very versatile and has a bright pink fringe type flower about twice a year.
@comeandtakeit you can also put azaleas in. They only bloom for a short period but can get fairly large to fill in space. You can also put in impatiens for some color, although they don't spread. 4951
