Yep. My take: doctored up tomato sauce simmered with seasonings, a lb. of ground sirloin into meatballs and then cooked down with the sauce.
1lb. Vermicelli and voila.
12 bucks total less typical seasonings such as basil, garlic, pepper, providence and oregano which most ppl have.
Hunts tomato sauce is the best for this btw. Very low in both additives as well as sugar. I can't stand sweet tomato sauces like rago and prego....they taste like ketchup to me. 4951
