Love St Thomas. Â The town it self is kind of poor and looks rundown. Â Last time I was there things had gotten more expensive. Â If you like Sea Food go to the Chart House to eat. Â It is a neat place. Â On the water and old. Â We also went to the other end of the island and took a Ferry to St John. Â Fun trip. Â St John is just beautiful especially if you can get around to Peter Bay. Â Some really good local bars too. Â I did my first snorkeling in St Thomas... 4951
Been over 30 years, but we loved it.  Stayed at bolonga bay before the new developments, enjoyed wandering, scuba, snorkeling, trip over to St. John's  for snorkeling at national park and wandering there too.  Great food at small places and lady who met the hovercraft on St. John's with couch fritters. They sold coconut ice cream at the grocery....rum on top made it more wonderful. We always meant to go back.  Now we're almost as old as the oldtimers we snickered at as they hobbled off the bus at the national park.  We had gotten there early when we were the only ones there except for a ranger. 4951
