And why is Congress refusing to at least meet on selection of a good man for the Justice seat.

They're just being bull headed and childish.

This is where we need change, in Congress. Get them out of there and put people in who can work together! 4951

Because of the way Nobama has behaved over the last 7 years. He appointed countless "czars" to this or that bypassing Congressional involvement, he shoved Nobamacare down the throats of a country that didn't want it, he dictated by executive order after executive order, bypassing Congress altogether. He has refused to work with Congress and had a "my way or the highway" attitude. He leads by secret back room tactics instead of the transparency he preached all along.

He did all of this because he was in power and he could.

Congress is refusing to act because he is a lame duck, they are "in power" and they can. He has ruined the core of this country and this appointment could and will tip the scales permanently for many years to come. Congress can FINALLY stop him so they are taking the opportunity.

I don't blame them.

@donnatella: Congress has been an issue for years.
And people think a person like Trump will correct this?
Oh boy!
Sorry but Congress is acting like babies. If Obama had not nominated him, they would accept him hands down.

@Safety44: Crybaby. They just confirmed his nominee for Secretary of Education, a fanatical supporter of Common Core, which most Americans hate.

@Safety44: That's a huge part of it, but I seriously doubt that a Rep controlled congress would approve a nominee that tips the scales liberal again, or even neutral.

@Safety44: I agree with you Congress needs to do their darn job.  I know some people like to cite Obama's Executive Orders for some of the antagonism, but he didn't do anything different than past presidents.  In fact he's issued far few of them than some others in the modern era.  In regards to Obamacare he didn't shove anything down anyone's throat. He made a proposal, the people's representatives (Congress) approved it, and the Supreme Court upheld it.In regards to this nonsense of not considering the SC nominee until the people have a say.  The people had a say in 2012 when the president was re-elected.  His term does not end until January 20, 2017.  As such his nominations should be given full consideration until such time as he is no longer president. Simple as that.

@rocket: I'm with you 100%.
Congress just needs to do their job! If they did, there would be no need for executive orders.
Furthermore, if we didn't have Obamacare, we would be right back where we were before...(being raped by the insurance agencies.)
At least he did something other than sit on his ****.

How many times have Dem done this to Rep?  It is not anything new.  It has always been this way.Is it right?  No, but the Dems do this when they are in power and the Rep have to shut up and suck it up.  They all need to grow up.

@Fallon:

It's too damn bad we can't fire either of them when they do this and replace them... it's refusing to do the job you are elected for and paid to do. 4951

@Fallon: The Dems haven't given two $#its about that is fair and right for over 7 years. Now that the Reps, through votes of a fed up America, have equitable power to balance a runaway administration, they are screaming from the rooftops. They are scared of Trump and want him stopped. They don't like hearing "NO" from Congress and want them stopped.

To all of the screaming, I say TOO BAD SO SAD. If you wanted fair, should have been fair back in the days of the birth of Nobamacare that tore up EVERYONE'S insurance and healthcare, and not said "too bad we are in power, suck it up."

Like no more denying coverage for preexisting conditions.  Everyone agreed with that!

@Fallon: As of 2014 that part of the law in regards to Obamacare took effect. Pre-existing conditions can no longer be a factor in denying coverage.http://obamacarefacts.com/pre-existing-conditions/
