This is the result of an overwhelming number of THE PEOPLE being fed up with the establishment on both sides, and government run amuck.  They find someone completely new, with little to no ties to government.  No, he's not my favorite choice...none of them are, but I can certainly understand it and understand the frustration of the American people.  It is supposed to be government of the people, by the people, for the people, NOT a bunch of power hungry blowhards with egos the size of Texas.  The Dems are running scared of his and the RNC establishment is running scared.  Good.  It's time to shake things up and get a fresh breeze blowing. 4951

At the end of the day we will have to vote on who is less stinky. The people that voted for trump in the primary will not vote for him in the general. 4951

Hilary will not stand a chance against Trump. Yes his antics are a little out there and he is way too unprofessional at times but I think being in  the office will humble him and we will be headed in a better direction than these past 8 years. 4951

i was originally leaning towards Carson, but he fell flat in the debates. Then I was sort of torn between Cruz and Rubio, until those debates were they came across as children.Trump never seemed to waver all that much, sure he is, shall we say, a little out spoken? But I have been tired of the way Washington has been run for awhile now, no matter which party seems to be in power.Time to shake things up!And we never get enough votes for an independent, even thou I lean more REP. than anything. 4951

If a true independent ran from the beginning, I would have strongly considered going that way, although my true  loyalties would have remained with the Reps.  They might not have won my vote, but overall, I most closely identify with conservative reps. At this point, however, if an independent creeps up at the very end, it will be all part of more of the same Washington dirty tricks, and I will have no part of that craptastic maneuver, plus I will be very **** at the RNC. 4951

I am NOT happy about it...   I have no respect for him... As frustrated and angry I am with everything political I do NOT think he is the answer...  I am no political expert but it seems way too many people had their hat in the race which split the votes... I think Kasich, Cruz or Rubio would be better than Trump.  That is just my gut feeling.. I know many disagree.  Trump worries me ALOT.   4951
