I have no insurance, and not a lot of money but have a horrible sinus infection that needs to be treated. I know there are some in Conroe, but don't have gas to drive up there. Are there any nearby? Please only helpful suggestions. In  a really bad spot in life right now. Thank you.  4951

Before I got insurance, I used to good a clinic off of East Mount Houston and 59. I think for a new patient, it like $40, then only $25 a visit after that. Dr. Kirkwood was always super friendly, and never tried to push things that you didn't need. He was also really good about trying to help you find the cheapest place to get prescriptions filled when you needed them. I think they're even opened on Saturdays, so you may be able to get in today if you choose to go there. 4951

Sorry, I know that's not Porter like you were asking, but it's the only one I know of, plus it's not really that far. 4951

281-590-1000 is their number. My apologies I probably should have added that to my first post. In the meantime, if there's anything I can do to help or if you want some extra vitamins or supplements to help, I'd be more than happy to drop some off for you or meet you somewhere. I hope you feel better soon. 4951

Not sure how much they charge private pay patients but you can try the minute clinics. Walgreen's and CVS has them. I believe they may have a price list online as well. Hope you feel better. Sinus infections are evil. 4951

If it turns into an Emergency. Go to the ER. They have to treat you. They will bill you later and if you cant pay it will go on your credit score and it sucks but it is better than death. They also will do everything in their power to find all possible charitable organizations to cover your bill. No I do not condone doing it over sniffles but a true sinus infection can go bad real fast.

I think for under 10 bucks you can get a neti pot and rinse out your sinuses. I also have some things that could help as bp offered I also do not mind running something to you if you wanna PM me your addy. Im dead seriouse...not just offering to sound nice. 4951

Good luck finding what you need. Some doctors make concessions to the really needed. They are often thought of as angels in doctors clothing.

Memorial Hermann northeast has an urgent care that charges $55 for an office visit (I think). Go to their website but call for an appointment. They will get you in faster. The staff is very professional. Good luck. 4951

@mattem: burnsway is serious. She has some good stuff to "support your system."

A year ago, I was with her at a skating party for the kids and started complaining about my sinuses. She rubbed some stuff behind my ears (without my consent even! Lol) and by the time I got home, my sinuses were clear. 4951

Agreed, the closest hospital ER might be your best bet. You will get good care today, which is most important. A simple sinus infection can turn into bronchitis, then into pneumonia, so infection needs treatment. Hope you start feeling better very soon. 4951

Also, if you end up going somewhere, make sure you get handwritten scripts.  Look online for coupons and find out where the cheapest pharmacy is. 4951
