To those of my friends at KDC, just a head's up that what I thought was only pollen related turned out to be a bad case of pneumonia and a severe inner ear infection, resulting in reoccurrence of my vertigo issues.

Just a word of advice. If you're feeling bad, get to a doctor! 4951

@Safety44:

I think it's severe this year. I couldn't get out of bed for two days. Told dh I feel so bad I'm scared it may turned into that horrible bronchitis I get. It nearly puts me in the hospital or I'm sleeping sitting up for three months. We went through 9 double rolls of tp in 4 days. I do not buy tissues, find them a waste. Feeling a tad better because I limit how often I step out in it.
Really hoping the rain brings a lot of it down.

@beadweaver: Thanks for your response. Hope you start feeling better. This came on so fast it scares me. I worry about those of us who already have illnesses that may mask this.
The pollen does enough to make us feel miserable by itself, I didn't even realize it was getting this bad.

@Safety44:

I've been doing this since I was 18. That's the first time it hit me so bad I landed in the emergency room.
After nearly 30 years it really ticks me off when I go to a doctor and tell him/her, here it comes.
Starts with ear aches, sore throat, dry eyes and runny nose. After a few months of the side to side flip flop the cough and complete runny nose starts. If in three days or so I don't get it turned around, it goes way off the charts. The two days I was in bed, I considered driving to the emergency room for a breathing treatment. I just did not want that bill. Doc refused to renew script without a visit. F that, he charged me $700 last time and told me the drugs I need he can't give me because they are on the list I must pee for. F that too.
When I wind up in the hospital, I'll call an attorney.
Really PO'd about it because it's been a lifetime thing with actual time line records and preventable. I try to be pro active. This is the very first time in three years I've been sick sick.
Rain rain come today.
Come and wash this pollen away. 4951

Just got the phone call that the X-rays are bad enough they want me to pick a hospital.

I'm ready because it's just getting worse and pretty fast.

Any ideas? Memorial NorthEast or Kingwood. 4951

@Fallon: is the hall monitor to protect me from Nurse3?

I can't imagine how a guy my age could be molested. Oops, I just had a second thought but even the thought makes me suicidal.

Thanks, I'll see what I can do. 4951

@deltadawn: I was supposed to leave for Missouri this morning. I've agreed with myself to postpone it until Monday, which means I have to be out no later than Sunday to takeuchi mom to her doctor.

Hope they have some really good stuff there.

Thanks 4951
