Based on the review I read here, we tried Curry Sultan this weekend and it earned a very enthusiastic thumbs up. If you haven't already tried it, get in the car and go now.
We started with samosas (triangle pastries with potato, peas, and spices) with mint chutney. These little empanada-like appetizers were cooked perfectly and good enough to has as a small entree. Don't leave without trying them.
Next up was Chicken Tikka Masala for me and Daal (lentil soup) for the Hubs. Both had depth and richness of spices as if they had been slow cooked and simmering all day to multi-layered perfection. I'm normally not a lentil soup fan, but I am now.
Somewhere in between, the Naan arrived. It was warm, just crispy enough to be a perfect dipper for all of the rich sauces and mint chutney we had in front of us.
Not to be overlooked was the prompt, friendly service. We were even visited by the Chef/Owner, who took a genuine interest in our experience and satisfaction.
Needless to say we will be back. For those who love Indian food or are newbies and want to check it out for the first time, we should definitely consider a KDC meet up, there.
