I hope you all were able to watch the Kelly File tonight. If not it plays on Fox News again tonight at 11pm.

Kelly and people in the audience asked questions to all the republican candidates except Trump.
I was set on voting for Trump but Ben Carson blew my mind! I love everything he said, his passion and commitment to The constitution and real American values.
I also loved answers related to African Americans.

I am going to comb through his website and find out more about his policies.

His interview with Glenn Beck highlighted why he isn't Presidential material,  Glenn asked Ben who was the worst President in U.S. history.  Ben said he didn't want to answer, because he didn't want headlines the next day.He was afraid of offending people.  A President can't be so afraid that his ideals and ideas will offend people, that the President won't even utter his ideals and ideas. 4951

I watched, I thought everyone did well, except Kasich when he was bickering with Megan about continuing his answer.

I do like Carson, but I don't think he has the experience. I don't like Trump, I don't trust his integrity. But, he'd get my vote before Hillary.

Cruz did well when he addressed when he would compromise. I was concerned he would be the conservative version of Obama, my way or the highway, I don't think so after hearing his answer.

I like Rubio, Kasich probably needs to get out but I'm unsure about the strategy over Ohio and Trump.

None of them are putting a noticeable dent in Trump. They can't really go after him either. As soon someone attacks him their numbers drop and that is the reality of it. If you can't hit your opponent hard who is winning well you can't win.     4951

@MarT: I felt the same way as @MarT - Cruz had the home town backing, I was surprised Rubio wasn't there in person when he did an event in Houston just a few hours before so I imagine he was in town.  Perhaps Rubio was miffed he wasn't invited to the same Lincoln Reagan Dinner that Cruz and Carson attended.
Carson is a nice man and very principled - he will be a great addition to a support team surrounding a president than the president himself. Cruz in my opinion, lost my vote because of the people he has around him.  At this point, I judge people by who represents them and his leaving his communication director in place for so long after the flat out lies and "errors" shows he isn't attending to the business of representing himself. While Rubio is polished and learns quickly from his mistakes he is now the chosen one of the party and he will have to be the one to find a way to work with Cruz or Trump takes it all and that is scary.Trump is smart to realize he needs a political insider to be VP but who will that be?  Both Christi and Hucklebee sucked up to him but neither are who I would classify as insiders, plus he needs youth and diversity on his ticket if he gets it.   Could he shock the world and choose someone like Rubio?  now that would be a ticket and a half.

@Stealth83: Trumps VP will be one of his kids obviously.

Nice man but we don't need a soft spoken President who whispers. Numbers stay low; needs to bow out. 4951

Trumps not going to pick any of his sons as vp. He needs them to run their business. He said the last couple of days he will pick a political insider. I think he'd pick Cruz or Rubio . Rick Santorum may be another choice, Rick was at the VA fundraiser with trump. Rick is an insider. To me, he's the republican version of Biden.

" I was concerned he would be the conservative version of Obama, my way or the highway."The problem with Obama isn't that he won't compromise.  The problem with Obama is his liberal ideals.  He has gotten his way on everything he's wanted.Compromise isn't a valid goal.If I say cook in the over, but you say cook in the freezer, cooking in the refrigerator won't result in a hot meal. 4951

I saw an interesting piece on CNBC this morning.  They were discussing what would happen to Trumps business interests if he's elected.  The guy who did the report said that the President was excluded from the provision that makes certain office holders Emoticonut their holdings in a blind trust (which wouldn't work with Trump anyway) or divest, and that the he could continue to run his business and be President.  As long as there are no government contracts involved.  Makes me wonder why other Presidents did so, though.  Can't you see him plugging for his business while serving, maybe he could start up his reality show again too.  Emoticon 4951
