Majority of Facebook users: young, low-income and female. Found this on a CNET report.   Does not surprise me. I would assume the next class is low income males. I don't even know any high income users unless they have a staff that manages it. 4951

How in the world would FB know that?  I know only a handful of people that don't have a FB acct.  Where would CNET get that info?  From CNN? 4951

Well, that's stating the obvious....probably the highest users are teens/young adults....they tend to be low income.

@Burnsway: You and your friends are a very small blip in the FB world.  It's a huge universe of kids.

It's real data from CNET. I have no skin in this game, don't use it  just reporting on the stats. I think the data reflects use, not just having an account. Big difference. The people I have known to use it a moderate amount are in fact low income.    4951

Maybe teens and students for more frequent use (all day every day) but many of the local communities have moved away from the developers website into Facebook Groups for their community pages and main source of community discussion and information.  Unless there are squatters, no one in neighborhoods starting in the upper 200-400's is considered low income, which is most of the neighborhoods in KW and the new neighborhoods along WLHP, also including Fall Creek and Summerwood, etc. 4951

The bulk of the info was regarding likes so apparently a lot of low income women like hitting the like  for some reason.... 4951

To be fair, I would have to say that if I do have to block someone it's usually a person that falls under this description. A typical day of posts might go:

10 am - Soooo bored sitting here in my house - nothing to do.

11am - Sooo hungry - sure would be nice if someone would bring me lunch since I don't have a car

11:30 - thanks Bobby Joe Wayne for offering to get me lunch. Your the best - hugs, hugs, kissy, kissy

Noon - Bobby Joe Wayne picked me up some Chicken Express!! Love that guy

12:01 - (picture of said chicken express)

1pm - still bored, someone entertain me

Then usually some cryptic crap...

3pm - Some people need to learn to keep there mouth shut (angry face)

That's about the time they get blocked! 4951

Ha ha @Maisey1

The cryptic crap drives me nuts, just say it. My BIL's girlfriend posted so many cliche religious posts everyday I had to unfollow her. 4951

Teens don't use Facebook. They are addicted to SnapChat and Instagram. It's a narcissistic thing.

Young and old adults use FB, as they leave the nest and want to connect with former classmates.

I post every so often and don't get annoyed at people's posts. I know how to scroll right over them.

Here is my take, it is a time capsule. My kids will have my login when I am no longer on earth so they can show their kids and so on. If it is still around. We don't know if memory sticks will be around....sure there will be a bigger better thing to do this. Anyhoo, for me it's mostly a voyour thing. But I have documented some cool times. Great memories which I would hope my people would appreciate seeing after we are dead and gone. I personally love looking through actual photo albumns. They will have plenty to look at! 4951

What gets me are the attention wh@res. They will check-in and say crap like "poor me here at MD Anderson. Gonna be a long day." All the while, their friends are losing their **** thinking the worst, they have cancer and are there for treatments, all the while, it's for a visit or some other appointment...intentionally whipping up a fire storm of frenzy and worry with their friends and family. I have unfriended more than one for crap like that. One even had her husband posting similar **** on her behalf. BYE FELICIA to you and your hubs. 4951
