He arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled which is always a plus. Tipped the washer back and said the pump has a crack and that is where the leak is coming from. Probably some debris or loose coins in the impeller which is why we always heard a rattling sound when it was spinning the clothes out. He had a pump in his truck just in case which is also great as he could do the repair right now instead of coming back.And the best part is he said $279 for the job but then lowered it to $259! For me that's worth it as I wasn't looking forward to shelling out the money for a new machine and the hassle of swapping things out. 4951
