Has anyone used a company to get rodent holes sealed? We have squirrels on our attic and need their entrance sealed up. Thanks! 4951

I had the same problem around Christmas.  Called ABC Home and Commercial Services and they took care of the problem. 4951

Sorry, I don't remember. Dave will come out and give you an estimate. I've used them for lots of other repairs and haven't ever been disappointed. 4951

I don't remember for sure, somewhere between $500-600.  It will depend on how many spaces they need to plug up.  That included setting traps and coming back and checking them.  Unlike rats, squirrels leave during the day so once they plugged the holes, the problem was solved.  There were no critters when they returned to check the traps- just some angry squirrels in my driveway!! 4951

Do your neighbors feed stray cats?  My nieghbor does and worry about it attracting squirrels.  4951

The bid I got today from ABC was over $1200.  seems crazy high.  We have a lot of outdoor cats on our street - not sure if that attracts them or should keep them away! 4951

@tx96ag: Having neighborhood cats is more likely to keep the squirrels away than attract them.  Squirrels will always try to find a way inside a house or garage to set up shop.  They are just like rats, except furrier.
