Just wondering. While cleaning up the bedroom I came across an old coo coo clock that was my wife's. We took it down a few years ago as it just stopped working. I remember talking to the folks at Chappel Jordan clocks down on Westheimer when we had another clock cleaned and they said they don't really like working on coo coo clocks. We have a grandfather clock and 2 others that ring all day and night so what's one more clock to wind and set? 4951
Yea I did- was not impressed. Hubby had to tear it apart and fix the mistakes they created when they were fixing the original mistake. We have a a cookoo clock- NO way would I take it to them!!!! 4951
Do you mean Moore Time? At least that is what they used to be called... I used them to refurbish a clock from the late 1900's and they did an outstanding job. Â Of course that was a number of years ago when they were still in Kingwood. Â Used to be really nice people and I'm sure if a customer was not happy they would make it right. Â The owners used to live in KW. 4951
Not sure if he works o, coo coo clocks, but we when our grandfather clock needed work, we found a local fellow. He came out to the house & did a great job. I think he is retired & only does it part-time, but it wouldn't hurt to check with him. Business name is 'Time Specialist', & phone # is 281-358-5151. 4951
Thanks. I think it's worth getting an estimate for cleaning, I know it needs it. Next I have to decide on the Grandfather clock which keeps time but rings the chimes on it's own schedule. 4951
We used to have one here in Kingwood out in that shopping center north of KW drive along 59 but they went elsewhere several years ago. Need to eventually have a clocksmith come check the grandfather clock as it is rather irregular at when it chimes. 4951
