Kingwood resident Jeff Stauber is running for Harris County Sheriff. With nearly 30 years of combined professional law enforcement experience, Jeff’s broad experience covers a wide variety of specialty areas from patrol officer to senior leadership positions with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Jeff has maintained an unblemished record all the while generating sound leadership fundamentals and fostering unparalleled productivity using meticulous administrative skills in order to motivate and lead others to obtain clear-cut goals and objectives. Jeff continues to be dedicated and engaged in making Harris County a better place to live and raise a family. In addition to his work with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, he has served our community by working with numerous youth sports organizations. Jeff and his wife, Michelle, have two sons and are active members of St. Martha’s Catholic Church.His website is still under construction, but his campaign does have a FB site: https://www.facebook.com/Jeff-Stauber-886918554748313/?fref=tsInformation for tonight, is below. I'll be there, so if you come, please let me know so I can introduce myself in person!-------------------- 4951

There was a recent interview with him at Charles Kuffner's website, Off the Kuff. It's worth the time to listen. soundcloud.com/cakuf fner/jeff-stauber-in terview-011216I'm not overly happy with Sheriff Hickman. He recently took heat for cutting the number of internal jail inspectors who help ensure that the jail meets all standards. I also felt he didn't handle the publicity with the shooting of Deputy Goforth well and was a bit to aggressive in asserting a motive when one had not yet been established. For me it makes no difference what political party the sheriff belongs to.  It's about the resume and the past experience. 4951

Just glad people are thinking and looking at the options. Don't just vote party... take the time to read up or study up on what each candidate stands for. 4951

@Chrisinkingwood:

Totally agree with you! I can vouch for Jeff as a person, and that's what I go off of - not Party or anything else. 4951
