Last night someone got into my truck and stole multiple items - Hunters ridge near woodbridge. Anyone happen to see/catch anyone in the area? Lucky I didn't, we don't call 911 immediately. 4951

Check and see if any of your neighbors have cameras.   4951

Then the parents of these kids will be like, why my child would never do this.

@Fallon: Next they will send out a picture of their child when he was 4 to the press.

Every time I see that BS I think they need to take that father out there and beat his Sorry A**  to a inch of his life because if he had done his job his son would have never been in that situation in the first place but the kid is usually just doing as dad has always done.  Its the sorry parents that make other people have to put the out of control young uns down. 4951

No sign of forced entry, it was locked when I tried to open my drivers door this morning. Neighbors don't have cameras, but I have spoken with them before and they said the same thing has happened to them over the years. We're next to the greenbelt on a culdesac. 4951

@omatthew12: When mine was broken into years ago I saw no evidence at first either but i knew I locked it and latter found they had struck the key lock on the passenger door with something.

The worst part is, I didn't really notice until I got to work that items were missing. My sunglasses fell off the dash yesterday onto the passenger floorboard, and stayed visible. When I got in this morning and was driving I went to reach for them and saw they were gone... I figured they must have moved under the seat or next to the door... When I got to work is when I realized they weren't in the truck... Then I opened my center console... A nikon digital camera, a Hilti laser measuring device, a filet knife, and a large flashlight. That's all that I can remember in there that's currently missing...He must have not given a crap at the fact my kids car seat was in there, along with some balloon animals he got at dinner a night ago, or the monster truck hot wheels toy box that was open in the back seat. Must have been a stand up criminal. 4951

There's only one key hole on the drivers side, and I checked all doors/handles are fine. Is using a jimmy bar still a way to get into cars? 4951

@omatthew12: My keyhole had a round  punch mark on it but a slim jim is quieter.

I live in Hunters Ridge near Woodbridge and one of my neighbors on a cul de sac street said he suspects there has been a white Dodge Ram casing the street this week.  They tried his front door at 7:30 in the am not knowing he was home and an alarm was one.  Same individuals, maybe...? 4951

@omatthew12: Unless they just break the glass or like most people that make it too easy and just leave their doors open.  Do you have an alarm that goes off if a door is opened?

The only thing I can think is that maybe one of my passenger doors was unlocked, or a slim jim was used. I don't think it was my passenger doors, because the driver's door was locked. I have a panic button on my key fob, but that's the only time I've ever noticed that the horn sounds. If the truck is locked and your inside, I don't think an alarm goes off if you open the door. 4951
