If its from the COH, it may just be the rate increases they sent us letters about.
I don't remember what the last letter said but it did involve increased costs.
Saying that, I did experience a small leak this past month in a toilet fixture that was less than a year old. When I check it, the flush stopper had swollen unevenly as if attracted by the water, causing it to leak.
I filled the tank and shut the water off. The tank drain in less than five minutes. That equates to a lot of water usage over a month.
I've gotten to the point that I check my toilets every few days and shut the hole house off if we're going to be gone several days.
I won't tell you what the bill was on a house down there when my grand kids left a toilet running for a month last year!
In Missouri, I have my own well and good water costs me less than 10% what the bill is for just "run off water" in COH. 4951
