Permanent MakeupHas anyone ever tried this? I get great deals on makeup with my couponing, but I have to say I am intrigued by this. Saw this deal for up to 71% off and I was curious. The site said that 95% of people recommended. They are advertising permanent eyebrow filler and permanent eyeliner.Anyone know more about this? 4951

I don't know anyone who has done it, but it's basically tattooed eyeliner, etc. I change my mind too often on type, color, style, etc., so I've never considered it. 4951

I have a relative who has permanent eye liner. It looks great. She's had it for years. 4951

I saw something recently on the eyebrow filling tattoo and thought that would be perfect for me since my eyebrows are getting lighter and lighter, but I know there is no way I could ever sit there and let someone tattoo around my eyes.I have a friend that got the permanent eyeliner and she's pretty squeamish when it comes to needles but she did just fine and loves her eyeliner...   4951

I heard both good and bad and met a few who have done the eyeliner.

The bad was usually due to cutting corners and using sombody cheap. They have been doing it for decades. I almost did it about 20 years ago. Im glad I didnt mainly because of injecting any ink or artificial colors into my skin now gives me the creeps. No Im not against tattoos....both my hubs and older daughter have them. I just dont like the idea of chemicals being permantly put into my skin. 4951

Makeup fads change so much, I wouldn't want to do anything permanent.  Just a few months ago, thin eyebrows were all the rage, now it's thick and bushy. Not to mention needles around my eyes totally freaking me out.  I'll stick with my Covergirl, thanks  4951

The only person I know whose had it done is Dominique Sachse from Channel 2 news.  She had her eyebrows done.  She posted a video on youtube about her experience.  Interesting video.  It tells how is process is done, but the lady who did the tattooing did say that you have to have it "redone" every few years or so.  So to me it does not sound too permanent.    4951

I remember back in the 80's it was all the rage. A lot of the dancers were doing all kinds of things. I too like to change it according to mood and season.
My nagging question was always, where does it land in 40 years? I'm tattooed from earlobe to ankle and none have moved. Faded a bit? Of course. My face however has changed as have my eyes.
I personally would never tattoo my make up nor would I surgically implant anything like steel balls etc. 4951
