Texans fired him and they STILL suck. I'm glad to see him land with a good team and thrive. 4951

At what point does the Texans organization have to say, "Hey, maybe the GM sucks"? That seems to be the remaining piece of the failure puzzle. 4951

I think we have another problem with our team.   Its either upper management or owner, they claim they want to win but never fix the problem areas or they hire someone else's former problem. 4951

They have fired everyone else. Basically upper mgmt and JJ Watt and we know Watt isn't the problem.

They have to invest in an excellent quality QB and quit playing musical chairs with the sub-pars. 4951

He still lives in Houston. I'm sure he enjoys playing for a winning organization.

Wade Phillips put together a heck of a defensive game. Thays what won it for them.

@Stealth83: They both deserve it after being blamed for the Texans failures. If they could somehow acquire Watt, I'd switch teams. 4951

I have always loved Peyton. I'm glad he gets one last shot at another ring.

@Stealth83:

I love him too! I'm happy for him. Lots of people thought patriots were going to win especially the patriots I think they underestimated the Broncos. I think Broncos out coached the patriots. 4951

Way to go kubiak. When will people realize that it's not managers and not owners that are at fault but yet the football players. Really you think owners or coaches tell the quarter back to throw interceptions ? 4951

Good to see him do well in Denver. He is a good coach, good man, & a good Aggie. Wade made a huge difference.

@angiekaye: Rick Smith has made some bad choices Clowney, Williams.. He got lucky with jj watt. If he is going to commit to a player at least try to keep them. They didn't even try to negotiate with Mario when he left and after all the great plays by Andre Johnson they up and let him go.

We're they not the reason to blame for the Texans failures??? Not everyone can have a great starting at QB. Kubiak stuck by Schaub and that is the reason he lost the job. Schaub was NEVER going to take us to a Superbowl. That is why Kubiak is not with us anymore. He is a subpar coach that fell into a great situation, look at that offense in the beginning of the season it wasn't working until Kubiak let Manning be Manning and take over. 4951

@friday1: Williams wanted too much money and if we hadn't let him go we wouldn't have drafted JJ. Andre Johnson was let go because he was told that his role would be downgraded and it came out that "around 40 catches" would be his ceiling this season before the season even started. Go look at Andres stats and tell me if BOB and Smith were right, Andre had like 41 some odd catches this season. I am not saying Smith needs to stay but I think they were right on both occasions.

Peyton will be an awesome coach when he retires from playing.  Maybe he will come coach the Texans and finally give us a winning team. 4951
