I lost my last guitar pick and drove to the School of Rock at about 2:30 and it was closed. The sign says they're open at 11:00 on Saturdays. What the eff?

I stood there and thought about just ghetto kicking my way in and leaving $100. For a guitar pick.

What's up with this place? It was my first time going there, and I'll never be back. 4951

Because they were closed? Maybe something happened and they had to close early.

If you were that upset over a guitar pick, maybe THEY are the lucky ones to lose your business. 4951

@donnatella:

I wouldn't be upset at ALL if they had just had a sign on the door. I'm not a jerky customer, this was just bad business. 4951

This isn't a rage post, I'm just posting a fact. Why the backlash? The business is supposed to be open and it wasn't, with no explanation whatsoever. What if I was a gigging musician and had a show this afternoon? If there's a valid explanation, I'd like to know it and would give the business a second chance. 4951

School of rock is a school that teaches kids how to play. They dont sell music equipment. Humble music would be the closest open place cause Andrews is closed on weekends 4951

Who knows there might have been an emergency and they didn't have time to post a sign just had to leave. Cut them some slack. If it happened in a regular basis that would be different. 4951

That's possible. Which is why I asked "What's up with this place?". 4951

I don't think we even have a music store in our area do we?I know when we need strings we have to go across town or just order from Amazon.  I forget the name, but we have a great guy on here that plays at Zachary's on various nights.  He most likely could tell you who sells guitar picks in our area.  But I am not sure if school of rock has anything like that or not.A lot of local businesses do this.  They aren't open when they should be and they close when they want.  Beyond frustrating!
