For your other half to flip out at you, and kids, during 3rd quarter of football game, and then not talk to you (spouse) since then (day 4)? We work opposite shifts, but he hasn't bothered to get up all week for the evenings. He even missed an event at his kid's school one if the nights. 4951

Quit putting it on a pedestal, give him some stake and a ** once a day till symptoms go away. Then hold off for a week or until the swelling goes away, then repeat.

@Houstongal2015: Me neither.  But I've been the victim of it (to an extreme).
Never mind, don't want to go down that topic again, will just stop there.Anyway, yes, men have bad days too and fluctuations in hormones and such can cause it.  He could also be having a bad time at work, depressed and doesn't want to admit it.  But then, it could have been a REALLY bad football game. 4951

I totally understand bad days, not liking work... But I don't shut down and stop being involved in my kids' lives. If he thinks he's punishing me, by not helping all week... He's dillusional. 4951

@elguapo: No woman wants to cook for or "BJ" someone acting like an @$$hole and mistreating them. He sounds like he needs to rethink that hsit or get the h@ll out.

@Houstongal2015: No that's not normal and should not be tolerated under any circumstances. Find out what is up his butt, give him an opportunity to change his tune or tell him to eff-off.

A bad day is one thing, or temporary worries about work. Everyone has those, but he should be able to talk about it enough where you know what is up and can be understanding.

@Houstongal2015: I don't understand it when people do that either.  I also hate inconsistency.
