Seems some folks barely cook it. Some only cook it a little more than half way. I like it to be very crispy, and prefer it cooked on a rack in a pan in the oven - so the grease drips off. How about you? 4951

Fried to a crisp, but not burned. In fact, we are having BLT's for dinner tonight. Luckily the hubs is going to fry it outside in his disk so the house won't even smell like bacon grease. 4951

I cook a big breakfast every Sunday.  I have one that will only eat the bacon wiggly and one that likes it crispy.... 4951

In the oven fully cooked slightly crispy. Overcooked bacon tastes disgusting. 4951

Very crispy.  The only time wiggly bacon is even remotely acceptable is the wrapping for something else such as a filet, stuffed jalapeno bites, chicken diablo, etc.  I get that it's impossible to get the wrapped bacon crunchy crispy without overcooking what is in the middle.   4951

@Maisey1: But why would you not want your house to smell like delicious bacon?

@ForeCPA90: Bacon does smell delicious - the lingering greasy smell, not so much...

@ForeCPA90: Agreed.  That a great weekend smell, that is, unless you are having company or a dinner party.
