Helping out my stepson and daughter in law today with a little project. They are the ones with the nice big house in Atascocita for their family of 5 kids. The kids bedrooms are all upstairs, the 2 boys share one bathroom and the 3 girls share the other. The younger girls aren't careful enough when getting in and out of a shower and water ends up on the floor, they just have a shower curtain now. It's gotten to the point that there is now a wet soft spot in the middle of the kitchen ceiling downstairs. I told my DiL sometime back that it was the water splashing out when they get in and out but she kept thinking there must be a leak somewhere and had a plumber come out. He basically told her what I had and even demonstrated by letting some water run off the edge of the tub on to the floor so she could watch it disappear into the cracks. I suggested the shower doors as curtains never seem to properly close and also that the kids quit getting in and out of the shower at the end where the taps are since more water seems to come out at that tend. We'll see if this helps fix the problem.
@Chrisinkingwood:
If the curtain is left hanging in the tub when they get out it would not drip on the floor. Is it getting pulled out to the outside of tub when getting out so it drips on floor? 4951
