Partial to Tin Roof. My mom worked there for years and I've never had a bad meal from them. 4951

Actually, they are both decent but I am partial to non-chains. 4951

I like and go to them both for different reasons. Tin Roof is more like home cooking and has more variety. Spring Creek has amazing rolls and great salads. Just depends on which "taste" I'm in the mood for at the time. 4951

I would have to say Spring Creek only because i've never been to Tin Roof.  I've heard Tin Roof is very good though.  I'm sure you would be happy at either. 4951

It's hard to describe, but Tin Roof is more savory cozy comfort BBQ, which is heavy, sweeter thicker sauce, with casserole-type sides from momma or granny's old-style traditional recipes.

Spring Creek is a lighter, smoked/grill-style BBQ with more of a vinegar lighter sauce. It's much easier to eat "healthy" at Speing Creek than at Tin Roof.

How's that, @ET? 4951

Better, but "healthy" is a stretch. 4951

@ET: That's where the salad and grilled items come in. You remember the salads that you scoffed at earlier, right?
