Why post the address? So your getting evicted.. Did she not pay her mortgage and leave her stuff there? In a eviction you lose everything if you don't take your personal items. 4951

Banks have a tendency to foreclose on people who don't make their mortgage payments. Yes people fall on hard times but you can't expect to live for free if you can't make the payments! 4951

Wrongful Eviction = Lawsuits filed on the property. The property located @ 3110 Cedar Knolls Drive, Kingwood, TX 77339  in theBear Branch subdivision has LAWSUITS FILED on it.  This property is not to besold & u will have problems if u try to buy/sale.The original owner was treated worse than a dead animal in the road! Had no idea was being evicted & had contacted PNC repeatedly, Channel 11 News(helped some), so called new owner warning of illegal sale, kingwood police, houston police, months before & lawyers etc. No help for the innocent!!! GREED! All for greed by the fraudulent mortgage company PNC Mortgage & several others involved are being sued! The so called new owner, stole $1,000's from the original owner in belongings & dead family photos, paperwork, antiques, list goes on & on etc. that cannot be replaced! Do not buy items from this person or home. His 2 workers stole as well. Just getting the word out to warn people about the property & stolen items. Will try & get a list up of stolen items or visit Twitter @ 3greyhounds3 for tweets with missing items listed. Also a GoFundMe page has part of the story on it @PNCMortgageWrongfullyEvictsLady! The lady doesn't have much funds as the gofundme was started months ago when the mortgage was harassing & then people thought the page was old.####Please no rude/crude comments this lady has been through hell & back & her kids#### All have a great day! God Bless!

@greedsad: You really, really, REALLY should think about deleting your post.  This was not a smart thing to do here, or anywhere, for that matter.  It's the best advise I can give you.

I'm sorry she was foreclosed on. I know homeowners don't just get a knock on the door and get thrown out one day. It's a process. Homeowner knows it's going to happen and it takes a while, giving himeowner time to move with all belongings. An officer only escorts you out when at the end, you are still refusing to move. New homeowners have no obligation to hold on to or store her belongings. 4951

I agree with you up until that last sentence. I think they might actually be obligated to hold and store the stuff, or otherwise turn it over to the city. I know I'm a business lease, the foreclosing business has to hold the forcloseds property pretty much forever. It could very well be different in private sales but I would not be surprised if the bank is liable to hold the belongings. Don't quote me on it, but I am pretty sure that is the case. Either way, you are right. This woman knew what was going on and chose to continue making bad decisions. She has no one to blame but herself at this point. Foreclosure takes many many months, if not years! 4951

No it's not the same. I've bought foreclosed property and once the new owner receives the key the house is yours and anything left in it. The bank gets the owner out before closing. New owner has no responsibility to store the belongings. I can tell you this, all of the owners if they leave anything, only leave trash. Nothing of value. 4951

I know some laws have changed since 2007 but I was renting a home and paying the rent on time but landlord was not paying the mortgage. The home was in forclosure over a year and I had no idea. Then One morning 4 different cars drove slowly by and were taking pictures so I started kinda freaking and called hubby. Next day we got a notice the home was up for auction and we had SEVEN DAYS to vacate premisis. I called a lawyer and the bank and they both confirmed by law everything...even my pets and cars on property would belong to the new buyer.

Just pointing out that atleast then the bank or new owners do not have to store or give back anything on premisis once a home is forclosed on.

Talk about the fastest move in my history.....lol 4951
