@Veteran:

For what, the only difference is see coming is the church will only need one cop instead of 4 or 5 to manage the traffic. I'm sure he will be pushing a button with one hand and stuffing himself with coffee and donuts with the other.

Traffic will still be bad. 4951

I shouldn't be so hard on those guys out there in blue. I guess it's not their fault right? I should blame the church for not providing itself with more exit routes. 4951

@elguapoLights don't change the amount of traffic but mediate the flow of traffic. Regulation is needed not just for church but for rush hour too. People trying to leave NWH or the church are trying to see around trees and other cars and make poor choices. I have seen people run the stop sign too trying to beat traffic. I am glad it is going in. I think it was long overdue even before the church. As for the boys in blue, it is an extra job not part of their salary position. They make the choice to be out there and the church is the one footing the bill. I am all for as many cops as it takes. I know my brother (who is a cop) appreciate the safer extra jobs ( some work crappy security jobs at whataburgers and such where people leaving night clubs get unruly).  4951

That intersection has been a problem for a long time. Well before the church ever went in there were accidents involving those leaving and coming into nwh trying to get across traffic. When you add in the people trying to turn onto NP competing with those trying to go straight across and no one ever seems to know whose turn it is along with doing all this in the very small breaks of oncoming traffic it makes for one miserable intersection. Since they have now connected my neighborhood with Woodland Hills Dr I refuse to use that intersection anymore. 4951
