Ankle/foot is giving me a ton of grief, I think it is tendonitis. I don't want to stop my exercise routine, but it's kicking my butt

See a Doc. Tendinitis is nothing to mess with. The tendons are located in little tracks and when they get inflamed they swell beyond the tracks and that's what causes the pain. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation (RICE) will help. I lived with Plantar Fasciatis (due to a certain antibiotic) for 18 months. It was quite painful and debilitating. I did a lot of PT exercises, icing, NSAIDS to get through it!! Good Luck 4951

@Jpgurl:

I did too and then it turned into tarsal tunnel syndrome and had to have surgery. You want to take care of it in the begining and not let it go too long. 4951

After doing a 3 month round of P90X I had a bout of tendinitis in my right shoulder. Couldn't lift it higher than head height without lifting the shoulder to compensate. Looked through the web and found someone local. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

For foot/ankle, research Dr. Jason Miller. Both my husband and I use him. 4951
