I always cant wait to get them down once Christmas day is over. But I always wait til New Years. Its such a drag. Putting them up is fun but taking them down is just work, blech. I wish I could twitch my nose and snap my fingers and make them gone. lol 4951

If you pay a company to put them up, do they come back and take them down also?  4951

Tradition in our family is they stay up til New Year's Day. We will probably take down the tree this weekend tho as its now just a sleeping bed for the cats and ferrets

Hate the bare boring look after they come down....I start in increments a couple of days after Christmas so that it's all down by Dec.31 and it's not such a shock. 4951

Inflatables coming in tomorrow since icky weather is soon to come. They will be inflated in the garage for a day or so to dry out fully then are packed away. The other decor will stay up longer. 4951

I will start Wednesday I think. I have some stuff to get rid of too. I plan to go room by room and pack it away based on that so that next year it will be easier to set up. My tree is starting to drop needles already so that might go first. 4951

Well all inside is packed up and back in attic. Tree is in bed of truck going to the recycle later today depending on weather.

Fixing to get outside and get the decorations up before weather hits. Will leave lights on tree and shrubs til Saturday. Maybe 4951

The tree came down yesterday but only because it's starting to droop and it takes up a lot of room. Everything else stays up til new years day. 4951
