If you like live music I would cruise Broadway from 4th to 1st street and surrounding blocks. Multiple small venues where bands play almost continually. Lot of talent there and most of the time it costs you a beer and a couple bucks in the tip jar. There are all sorts of other attractions in the area but that is about as far as I ever get. 4951

Behaving? Heck No! We rolled into town and hit the ground running! I've never sang or danced so much in my whole life! I lost my voice! Think we hit every bar in the area the first night then made the rounds again last night but third times the charm! Off to see the Country Music hall of fame then the the music city bowl tonight!  4951

Go to Hattie Bs and/or Prince's Hot Chicken Shack for hot chicken. Hattie Bs is newer, cleaner, and in a better part of town honestly. I like the taste of both, I miss my hot chicken! If you like the bar life and country music, of course go down Broadway, it's a ton of fun. I always like going to Preds games if you're into sports, they're a blast...Go Preds! The Grand Ole Opry is nice to see as well as the Opryland Hotel (especially this time of year, they put up a nice display of Christmas lights). Other fun areas are Demonbreun St (bars), The Gulch (bars), West End Avenue (restaurants) and Hillsboro Village (they have boutiques/shops). Let me know if you have any questions, I'm from the area, it's a lot of fun. 4951

Go to The Blue Bird Cafe. Also google the writers guild in Nashville. They have them in hotel lounges and you can go listen to the writers play their written songs,  a country star will eventually sing their written son! Loved sitting in on this when I traveled to Nashville on Business! I did this for  almost 20 years!  Downtown is hopping.....check out the guitar shops.  4951

It was so juicy! I got the hot but only cause I was scared! Saw a guy in the parking lot flushing his eyes out with water! After lunch we kept threatening to poke each other's eyes out! Next time I'll order the "shut the cluck up"! 4951
