Yeah because the coach is the one who can't catch a pass.

Who's in charge of making sure the players are prepared enough to catch a pass? Their moms? The ball boy? The defensive coordinator? I'll give you the wr coach, but who is in charge of the assistant coaches?

These are big boys playing a game.  If they don't know how to properly go after a pass and look it into their hands by now, then coaching won't get them much. 4951

You would think, but so many GM's and coaches fall in love with a fast guy, instead of a solid hands guy. Jerry Rice was not that fast. He did, however, run precise routes and had the best set of hands ever seen in the NFL. Speed and size is great but if you can't hold onto the ball...you should be out of a job.

@jax: Yeah, good points.  Best, and hardest, route runner ever.  Every down was like he was the potential target.
