Used to love walking around Woolworth's.  Then have lunch at their counter.  Then we went uptown and K-Mart arrived 4951

When we first moved to Houston my first studio was near the Rice Village which had Variety Five & Dime. Sadly it closed in 2010 after 61 years in business.http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/river_oaks/living/rice-village-store-closing-after--plus-years/article_be91cfdb-0bbc-5cd2-805a-9f2e47431ff6.htmlThey have a chain of supermarkets in Australia called Woolworths but they are not related but just used the well known name which FW Woolworth never registered down there. I think we also saw them in South Africa. 4951

My grandparents were nice, Grandpa would have us walk up his legs and flip over when we were small, and when we were too big, had us play mini golf in the yard. Grandma had paper dolls for us and craft stuff. She saved carboard that came in Grandpa's shirts, and we could do what we liked with it. We also had to clean up after ourselves. 4951
