I recently stopped my houston chronicle subscription and everyday someone is calling me to resubscribe. And everyday I tell them to put me on the do not call list. Â Plus they send me emails and snail mail even though I have unsubscribed from the emails. Â It's really annoying. Â I cancelled because I just didn't have the time to read the paper anymore or clip coupons but was planning on subscribing again in a couple years when my daughter went to grade school but after this they have lost me for life now.
@foxymama: Â Most newspapers are really hurting from the internet and lack of subscribers. Â I get the e-Chronicle and the paper copy on Wed (grocery stores sales papers) and Sunday (sales ads which you can't get electronically). Â Someone from the Chronicle called a month or so ago and said since I've been such a good customer, they will send me a paper copy Wed-Sun at no extra cost. Â I usually read the paper on my tablet, but the paper copies come in handy to put on the table or workbench when I'm doing something messy.
