Avoid this location like the plague! 2 years ago We bought a mattress from Mattress Firm in Champions location in Spring, Tx and had a great experience. I Called the Humble location today by Chuck E Cheese on 59 fwy address 1943 A 59 n. Suite A. and asked for a specific type of mattress a beautyrest firm recharge and wanted to know the price. A man named Jorge Benitez said they had the bed in stock. I asked for a price and he said $599. I went into the store and a short young Hispanic salesman with a large tattoo on his arm named jeorge (he pronounced it "George") said "I have the bed right here". The bed had a marked down price printed on it of $799 which was for the floor model. Then jeorge said he could give us 50percent off with his "employee discount". I thought that sounded great and was even lower than what he quoted on the phone. I said " this is the bed" and Jeorge said "yes". Then when we sat down to pay Jeorge said "I can get you a box spring for free". We said great. He then said he could get us a pillow for $65 and delivery for $50. Then he said "the total will be $989.39". Are you doing the math with me? Fifty percent of $799 is approximately $400 plus 50 is 450 plus 65 is $515. Tax would never amount to anything even close to $989. Then I looked at the name on the sales print up and the mattress wasn't even the one I asked for. It said "gray stone beauty rest". At this point my wife had already handed Jorge Benitez our credit card and paid. I then asked to try the one I originally called about and he pulled a mattress out that again wasn't the one I asked for, was of much poorer quality but Jeorge claimed to be $599 like he quoted me over the phone. The term for this is "bait and switch" and is illegal. Needless to say I will never do business at this location and asked for a refund. Jeorge demanded the pillow we purchased back and said he would use his "employee discount for someone else" and that I could not keep the pillow I paid for, even though I asked to return only the other merchandise. Then Jorge first said that my refund would show up 10 days later. Then he spoke to his "manager" and said that it would be refunded today and would show up as such on our bank statement. Jorge's sales tactic is shady, illegal and overall bad business and soils the once good name of Mattress Firm. Jorge Benitez has either been trained poorly or is not following proper procedures. 4951

OK, all duly noted.... Won't shop there. How do you feel about shopping carts in a grocery store parking lot? 4951

That is the clearance outlet.  I bought a bed from them a few months ago and had no problem.  I also bought a pillow which they say they sold it to me a discount  because I bought a bed.  Not sure about the rest of your complaint.  I never pay until I see a correct price total in front of me also. 4951
