@beadweaver   What does this have to do with peeing?  I'm thinking they need to test your kidneys or liver periodically before they will renew a prescription for the pain meds.  Is that what you're talking about, and if so, what's the problem with that?Oh, and I hope I'm not the "one person saying the wrong thing." @SandyKnee:
Exactly what
@BooBear said. I use those because they work and it's not something I have to take daily or more than once a day. I had gotten 30 in June. I went back to see the doctor in October. I could have called for a refill every 30 days. The reason I went in for refills is...
1. She charges me for a prescription. She must write in triplicate, one going to DPS.
2. I was having asthma issues and wanted to discuss it before I showed up with full bronchitis.
3. The last blood work she did was a yr earlier and said my blood sugar was elevated. I thought maybe run it again. Last time I was in the middle of a hell move and ate terrible food just to eat.
She was only interested in forcing a flu shot, mammogram and Colonoscopy on me.
Even if she pee tested me it wouldn't be in my system. I hadn't needed anything as I was starting to do more exercises and building my core.
It enrages me to sit here paying $500 a month and it goes up in the new year and my body is screaming in unnecessary pain. That I'm lumped in with dirtbags because they either abuse and sell them.
I've been here 10 years and couldn't get one person to watch a bird in an emergency. I had to come here and found more kindness. Who the hell would I sell them too.
It enrages me that I went to a new doc and I saw them along with my dh for 45 minutes. They charged my insurance for 1 1/2 hours each at $700 each. He told me my right ear and throat were red. Yeah no kidding. He's afraid of DPS and told me he wouldn't even discuss my pain.
How many more doctors do I see that charge my wellcare kitty till it's gone? Then be accessed of doctor shopping?
So I am responsible and have private insurance, saw my doctor at least every four to six months and only eat organic food. A gallon and a half of rum lasts me a year.
Maybe if I was a dirtbag it wouldn't be so hard.
