Need some ideas. As you get older you start running out of ideas. I thought about getting a small hot towel warmer like the ones in the spa. Seem like it would be great for a woman facial cleaning at night but not sure. Right now, all I have are some On Cloud running shoes since she is in to running on the treadmill. Every year I try to get something that is very functional, a gift that keeps giving sorta thing as the main gift. Last year was a Pro Kitchen Aid Stand mixer since she likes baking.    4951

@beastmode:

Is she on Pinterest? Maybe you can stalk her pins and see if that gives you any ideas? Or just search "gifts for her" on Pinterest. Maybe try Etsy for handmade items or unique items and do something special with it...

I found these prints on Etsy. They are actually pages from an old children's book. Then I had them matted and framed with some old broken frames my nana gave me. I love stuff like this.

@HollyHobbyI got a counter top lighted, magnifying mirror for Xmas a few years ago.  I didn't think I would really use it, but I love it.  Something many women after a certain age will need Emoticon 4951

I'm completely done with Christmas shopping. Can't say what I got, though. 4951

I say this with tongue in cheek. Christmas wears me out.  What I would like for Christmas is for someone(s) to do all the shopping, wrapping, decorating, cooking, and cleaning so I can for once show up on Christmas Day not looking like an old hag 4951

Lol! No lie!

I actually have always loved Christmas but the commercialism is ridic now, takes all the fun out of it and most people go into debt by charging everything, it's just dumb.

Just once, I'd like to go to the mountains and stay in a cabin, cut a tree and decorate it, eat, cook, drink, and enjoy the company and beauty of those surroundings. No shopping, no BS. I think if I'm going to have to spend big bucks, I'd rather go on a retreat/vaca instead.  4951

I like tickets for a show or concert. I have enough stuff taking up room but really enjoy a night out doing something we wouldn't normally do.

I also requested a house repair that I can't do alone be fixed.

Shoes.

Can't believe I forgot shoes.

The ones I like are pricier than I would go out and buy on a whim. I always hold out for the sale and then my size may be sold out. Hubby takes me shoe shopping and not wait for the discount. 4951
