Whipped rutabagas with butter, salt, and pepper.  Nobody else likes them, so they are all mine. 4951

Turkey
Cornbread dressing
Corn casserole
Yams or glazed carrots
Mashed potatoes
Green beans
Yeast rolls
Cranberry sauce - two types
Desserts - always chocolate pie and other rotating desserts

This list has probably been repeated about 50 years in my family. Likely, even more. 4951

We stick with the old family recipes and tradition. Turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, deviled eggs, cranberry sauce, crescent rolls, etc. 4951

I'm not that great of a cook. My MIL is an awesome cook, so we usually bring flowers, ice, and drinks to Thanksgiving. Haha!

They do the traditional menu. My faves are the deviled eggs, green bean bundles (wrapped in bacon), broccoli rice casserole, and cheesy potatoes (like a potato casserole).

I guess I'll wear the stretchy pants. ;-) 4951

I made a Coke Brisket last year. I felt horrible because they ate all of it and did not touch my Mom's turkey that much. Not a good feeling and I won't be doing it again.  4951

I haven't even thought about the menu.  Maybe over the weekend.@RogueHippEE    Yummm risotto, I love it, I love making it, but I'm the only one who likes it EmoticonIt's only three of us, which is super strange, so I'll ask them what their must haves are, round it out with whatever will make a nice meal, cook a turkey and that's it.  4951

My must have is sweet potato casserole, only b/c my grandmother makes the best; I don't really like anyone else's.  Our Thanksgiving menu will be turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes (b/c my dad prefers them), green bean casserole.... And I'm bringing the broccoli-rice casserole & rolls.  There is always a homemade pecan pie & other pies usually...  I might bring some homemade cranberry sauce, b/c I absolutely despise that mold in a can. LOL  With or without it, there's a lot to be thankful for. 4951

I make the same things every year. Fried turkey, cornbread stuffing, 2 different kinds of mashed potatoes, garlic gravy, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, deviled eggs, broccoli cheese rice casserole, macaroni and cheese, rolls, pea salad, bacon cheddar ranch pasta salad, and creamed corn. Oh and like 3 pies, some brownies and an apple crumble. This year I'm also adding a cinnamon orange cranberry sauce, Mississippi mud potatoes, Parmesan crusted asparagus with a balsamic drizzle, baked praline Brie, a vegetable platter with homemade ranch, and a couple different soups. 4951
