WTH, the toy phone for Barbie is an old school brick phone. They couldn't upgrade her to a smartphone? I guess spending all your income on high dollars clothes she had to go with a Cricket plan.   4951

I had to Google it to make sure it was something current.  The whole thing felt very late 80s early 90s.  Couldn't care less about the boy being in the commercial, but the whole thing has a very odd, dated vibe. 4951

@Jpgurl:  I looked up Moschino.  It's an Italian fashion house specializing in leather.  In the case of the boy in that commercial,  he seems much too young to know about sexuality, much less to understand about being gay.  It seems more like his mother wanted a girl, so she treats him like a girl, and he is taking on the mannerisms of a girl.  Just my impression!I have no ideas about his haircut.

@REtired_Engineer: Well no wonder I didn't know-I own zero designer anything. My Mom made most of my Barbie clothes and no way would I have bought a designer Barbie for either of my kids!!

I agree about the whole 80-90's vibe- I don't think even the boy's hair cut is current. As far as the boy himself- I don't care if he plays with Barbies or is whatever he is. My son used to play with his sister's Barbies but now I know what he was doing 🙄@RE.
My Mom wouldn't let us have a Ken doll because we might see what's under his pants- which was absolutely nothing!!!
