Last night the DH and I went to Italiano's for
the first time.  We went to the Atascocita location.  The food was delicious and the service was great! Maria
was our server and she didn't miss a beat.  They make these garlic knots
that are totally addictive.  We started with the stuffed mushrooms,
fantastic!!  I had the Linguine with white clam sauce and the DH had the
Chicken Florentine and both dishes we very tasty and delicious.   And
because it was our first visit to the restaurant, Maria gave us each a mini cannoli
and it too was fantastic.  We definitely will be going back!! 4951

We've lived in the KW area for 3 years and last night was our first time.  But it is really a great place.  Very warm, cozy and inviting.   4951

This has always been a priceless gem of a restaurant in our area - the Humble location is fantastic also - you get your money's worth that's for sure - and the quality is unbelievable!  Definitely a 5 star "diamond in the rough"......have celebrated family events, company gatherings, birthdays, and even solitary lunches at times....never disappointed.  The management is on premises and attentive, the wait staff is dignified, courteous and quietly attentive also - it's just the "whole package" -   4951

Italiano's is great for catering holiday parties, etc. What party is complete without garlic knots, right? 4951

I see families in there just for Pizza, and it looks great, but this has created a difficult loop for me.  I don't get pizza because the rest of the food is too good, and I can get good pizza several other places, so I decide to make a trip there especially for pizza so I can try it, then I decide that the food is so good, that I can't waste a trip on pizza I can get elsewhere...This cycle has been continuing for a couple years now and I still haven't tried the pizza. 4951

I love Italiano's too! They have a chicken with pasta in a pink vodka sauce that is my favorite. I just have to make sure I wear loose clothing because I leave stuffed. And their food is very well priced for what you get. 4951

I saw several people ordering pizza and they did look yummy!!  Those garlic knots are made fresh and the DH couldn't control himself at all!!  He ate so many that by the time he got his food he actually couldn't finish it.  And this is a man who NEVER leaves behind food. 4951

@MacitagirlNice call on Italianos, my friend....  And I can vouch, dude, that they make a pretty killer Cheese Pizza!  And that the Garlic Knots are heavenly! (Insert: Heaven opens up, clouds part, rainbows in full view, and trumpets sound with these delicious lil' nuggs of loveliness!  ....Not really, but close!)  4951

We go there at least once every 2 weeks! It's so much better than olive garden. Their tomato vingerette is to die for! 4951

I'm more partial to Amedoe's and J. Christopher's myself.I thought Italianos was OK, and like any of them, it might be what you order also.Lasagna House is still one of my faves, just not near by.When trying a new Italian restaurant I usually go for the calamari appetizer (Amedoes has some of the best BTW) and either an alfredo or a Carbonara so I can compare.Or the first time to a new Indian place, I always get Vindaloo to judge them by.Or a new burger place, usually I get a single hamburger, with Mayo and onions only, my judgment "burger" that all burger places will be measured by. 4951

Is it casual dress?  Not for myself, but it seems these days that "dressed-up" for DH is a Harley t-shirt without holes!!  4951
