This is the right time to buy dealerships want to make room for newer models. 20k on a 5 year average is a $400 note. Always argue principle price not monthly note. Google search the car you want and see the average price. 4951

Randal Reed is a rotten dealership.They gave me a "free" book with all kinds of "free" service coupons.  When I examined the papers, I saw that "free" booklet cost me almost $300.  They would not refund it.The "free" oil changes cost $60 in "disposal" fees.The car I bought there has had nothing but problems. 4951

I found Randall Reed dishonest. I purchsed 2 fords from Russell Smith on 610 near Astro dome. Did my home work and offered drive out price and they accepted on both. I understand they have the former Randall Reed management staff. Really nice folks to deal with. 4951

Bought a couple cars there. About the same as all the others, you have to watch what you're paying for before you sign the deal. You get plenty of opportunities to review the paperwork.
Best bet is to have an idea of what you want and get some internet quotes from various area Ford dealers. Find the best one and negotiate from there. The so called free coupon charge was in there but I had it removed prior to closing. It's value is somewhat dubious anyway. Tried their quick oil change and it was a two hour wait. Never seen people move slower in my life.
Know what your trade-in is worth also. If they are tight on the purchase they will try to kill you on the trade. Not just this place, all the dealers do that. Be willing to walk. 4951

They don't call them "Stealerships" for nothing! That being said I don't know if they are any worse or better than others. My stepson and his wife have bought 2 cars from them as has my own son.  I tend to buy used cars and do most basic maintenance myself so don't have any personal experiences. 4951

After driving a rented 2015 Ford Explorer last week, I'll be looking for one used. It was an awesome vehicle.

It's very hard, maybe impossible, to find an honest dealership. They simply know every possible hidden fee and loophole and it's hard to combat that. 4951

I don't have any personal experience with them but I've just always gotten anbadnvive from that placed based on similar comments to the others here. If I were in the market for a Ford, that would not be a place I would look. Instead, I would stick to a dealership that has been In business a long time in Houston. 4951

I just purchased a new Ford truck and drive to Sealy to get it.  Randall Reed was the only other dealer with the truck I wanted in the color I wanted however you can see I avoided dealing with them because of their dishonest dealing from the first truck I purchased from them.My last truck I bought at Anderson in Cleveland to once again avoid Randall Reed.  On my new vehicle I did my shopping on the Internet first.  Found exactly what I wanted, talked to the dealership and went there when I was ready to buy.  In and out in less than 2 hours. 4951

Although I said I never would, we bought a truck at Randall Reed in Humble last month. They have been horrible for the past 20 years but boy what a difference this purchase was. They were able to get me exactly what I wanted at 20% off the sticker price, they were upfront about everything and clearly answered all of my millions of questions. Although I still can't believe it, I will say that RANDALL REED IN HUMBLE IS THE BEST vehicle purchase experience we have had. That said, we also went to Randall Reed's Planet Ford in Spring and it was the very worst experience ever! It was just that bad that I'll say it again....PLANET FORD IN SPRING IS THE WORST DEALER EVER!  4951

@QueenB:
Glad to hear something positive about this dealership. I would have preferred to buy local however was a bit leery because of past experience. 4951

I am friends with Andy Garcia at Texan Dodge Chrysler Jeep. He is a very honest Christian man.If you are looking at a GM vehicle, my insurance customers automatically get $500 off the lowest negotiated price of most GM/GMC vehicles. Not intended to be an ad,  but PM me for details! 4951

We bought an explorer there a couple of years ago, and I just had my wife go away from the table during the negotiations.  I got up from the table twice and was called back.  I got to $500 from my price and the rate/terms I wanted.  Close enough for me on a $30k vehicle.  I am a numbers person so it's easy for me to catch anything goofy they try to throw in there.  It doesn't bother me that they act that way, as I don't want to spend an extra couple hours driving around.  Service at the Quick Lane next to RR Ford has been good for me. 4951

@tatertot58: We thought we were going to have to go to Sealy for the right color as well... blue jeans blue.  I'm with you, we were happy to buy local, but had they not been right with us, we would have been on our way to Sealy!

With all due respect to all parties...these are sales people you are dealing with, they have numbers to meet.  There are going to be things hidden anywhere you go, you just have to be careful and pay attention to the details.  If your not sure walk away and think about it for a day or so. 4951

@rdizzle:
True fact, however I dealt with more than just the sales person because he quit the day after I purchased the car. At that time their management was nothing stellar... It was just an awful experience from what I see as a dishonest dealership 4951
