I'm leaving on vacation this weekend and need a bathing suit. Apparently, I left my old one behind when we visited Schlitterbahn a while back. Naturally, it's mid-November and stores aren't exactly loaded up with summer wear.

I checked Amazon and there are plenty of suits, and then I remembered how many I had to try on in order to find one that fit, so I'm not crazy about buying online.

Any suggestions? I was at Stein Mart the other day and don't think they had bathing suits. 4951

If you don't mind driving a bit you might try Swim 'n Sport. They sell suits year round. There's one at the Galleria and one at Katy Mills mall. I stick with a couple brands from there so now when I need a new suit I can just order online because I already know how it will fit. 4951

Venus.com has a ton and you can buy different sizes for tops and bottoms in every suit they have, great selection too. Very reasonable and good quality. 4951

@HollyHobbyIf you don't find one locally, Land's End had good suits.  If you call rather than ordering online, they have swimsuit fit experts that can help you get the right suit, you'll just need your measurements.  I worked there when we lived in WI and they really focus on this swimsuit stuff.  They have a lot more information than what is in their catalogs or online regarding fit and sizing.  4951

Victoria's Secret has suits online. Bra size is direct correlation to tops.  4951

I saw quite a few on Target's clearance rack last week. Just a word of caution... I was trying to order a swimsuit & swim-shoes on Amazon at the beginning of October. All items were Prime eligible, so I expected free 2-day shipping, as I needed them the week of. Once at checkout, the delivery date kept switching to 5-7 business days out. This only happened on the summer/water items & when I called Amazon, they said unfortunately this happens with select items even if it says Prime eligible. Needless to say, I had to ditch my cart items since they wouldn't arrive on time. It was interesting that only items in the summer/water dept had delayed shipping... May have changed since then. Good luck on your search! 4951

After looking at the suits on the Lands end site, it seems that swim dresses really are a thing. And "flirty" swim skirts. Truth be told, the more of me that is covered up, the better.  LOL 4951

@MarT: Lands End suits are great.  I get one each year, typically a tankini, and they really last.  Very good quality.  And since I am tall, I appreciate that they make longer sizes as well.
