All because their seasonal cup is solid red with no design. This is a paper cup that will go right into the trash. Why read so much into the intent? It's a CUP!!

This will be one of those "come on people...pick your battles!" 4951

I totally agree.. Maybe they want to be able to use the cups after the Christmas season so they did away with the ornaments...  I agree much to do about nothing. 4951

If it isn't important, why not have Christmas on the cup?  After all, stores like Starbucks don't make a killing in Nov and Dec because of a generic holiday.  They make a killing because of Christmas."It's no big deal" generally means Christmas is not mentioned.If it's "no big deal", then mention Christmas. 4951

@fcabanski: Just to put it in context they did not remove the word Christmas - it was never there...  The just removed Christmas tree ornaments.......  So it is not a Happy Holiday vs Merry Christmas kind of thing....

Here's an idea...If you don't like the "policy" fund somewhere else to buy your over priced coffee. People get so butt hurt about the dumbest stuff. Don't like it then don't participate, easy-peasy 4951

I agree about buy coffee elsewhere.  I don't frequent Starbucks.Christmas is there.  It's why stores make so much money in Nov. and Dec.  If Starbucks doesn't want the word Christmas on their cups, whether they removed it or never had it there in the first place, so be it.I will continue to celebrate Christmas even when the number of the beast is required for trade.  Of course, I will be gone by that time. 4951

@fcabanski:

Do you think Jesus gets upset that he isn't mentioned on the Starbucks cup? From the things I've read, seems to me like he wouldn't want to be anywhere near it.. or in any retail place, really. 4951

So strange. I was enjoying my salted caramel frap a few weeks ago and felt like God was telling me not to buy from them anymore ..now I see why, and researched the weird symbol on their cups..it's an evil symbol of the "almighty dollar" "illuminatti". Im not buying from them anymore.. So much going on around us that they aren't really showing on the news but show on CBN.. flooding, earthquakes, massive sink holes, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, beheading christians, removing God's 10 commandments, satanic "church" built in spring, etc. 4951

@fcabanski: They may not mention Christmas on the cups, but they do sell gift cards that say "Merry Christmas", advent calenders, and they still sell "Christmas Blend" coffee by the pound.
This whole thing is nonsense, started by an attention ***** "internet personality" 4951

😳...  Yea there are some far reaching blogs out there that say this however if you dig a bit deeper you will find the symbol is a "siren" from ancient Grrek Mythology and has nothing what so ever to do with an evil symbol of the "almighty dollar" "illuminati", as you state it. 4951

@allymansfield: LOL
Very good point, that stupid video where they guy "pranks" them into writing Merry Christmas on the cup just gave them $4 for a cup of coffee.  Yeah, he showed them.People up in arms about this are wack jobs, but wack jobs can still vote with their dollars just like the rest of us. 4951

I'm not convinced that there are actually a lot of people up in arms about this.  I see a lot of articles TALKING about how people are up in arms over the Starbucks cup, but no actual PEOPLE, if you get my drift.  So I can't help but wonder if this is just a brilliant marketing campaign by Starbucks.  4951
