What are you doing to control them??? I want my kids to be able to play outside! I've tried the natural remedies - now I'm ready to go chemical crazy on the suckers. What do you use and where do you get it?   4951

I use Cutters Backyard Bug Control. We sprayed the yard twice late May/early June and did not have a problem all summer. I have just started to noticed a few mosquitoes lately and need to spray again, but it works fast and keeps them away. We live next to the woods and have a retention pond behind us so lots of mosquitoes in the area, but not too many in our yard, and after I spray they will be completely gone for a while. 4951

We may have to try that @Maisey1, the mosquitos love me and I hate bug spray.  4951

I second the Outdoor Backyard.  I use the one that you hook up to the hose.  Seems to get all the evil little Mosquitos and how long it lasts depends on the rain we get.  Usually two to three months +/- 4951

Haven't really had to treat my yard since all the spring rain produced so many of the buggers. I got one of those Black Flag foggers that has a propane cylinder and a reservoir for the bug juice. The insecticide is sprayed over the heated coil and produces big clouds of vapor that pretty much kills all the bugs.  One year I tried Garlic juice as a natural remedy, put it in my hose end sprayer and did the whole property but is smelled like an Italian restaurant for about a week after. It did decrease the mosquitoes though. 4951

Cutters is pretty good. Eucalyptus sprays also work for me and are natural . They have always torn my behind up!!!. My wife, she seldom gets bit. I read somewhere that they are attracted to healthy people...I work out a lot, always have. I believe it. I  get bit almost immediately.   4951
