Ok, so I am progay, lesbian, bisexual but today when i was getting my coffee at Burger King the cashier was very very flamboyant and it made me kinda of uncomfortable. It was really the way he was holding his hands. I know my opionion may **** some off and thats perfectly fine.  I am a "say it like it is" type of person so you can "say it like it is" right back to me if you want.I told my husband about it and he said nothing wrong with that response but get use to it since it is becoming more accepted and more common.  Anyways, does flamboyantly gay individuals make you uncomfortable?   4951

When it comes to people, in general, that are overly animated, I can usually handle small doses of them at a time.

Melissa McCarthy, when in her self-deprecating comedic character, Rebel Wilson and Frankie Grande, all the time, come to mind. They are very entertaining but I can't take too much of them.

Their sexuality has nothing to do with it...just their behavior. 4951

I'm with you there. It kinda wears me out when I'm around super-animated, overly enthusiastic talkers that gesture a lot. 4951

Kathy Griffin is another one. Love her, but not all day

She and Anderson Cooper are hysterical on New Years Eve. She gives him the giggles and he never stops all night. 4951

I think it was more to do with him handling food and the way he was holding his hands.  Like they were dirty or something.  I could care less who he sleeps with. 4951

If the way he was holding his hands implied to me that they were dirty, I probably would have said something, like "do you need to go wash your hands?"  Dirty hands, and my food, do not belong together. 4951

I just keep my distance in case they burst out in flames right in front of me.  Don't want to have to find the fire extinguisher.Just kidding - it doesn't really bother me.  Like the other posters have said, overly animated people in general make you pay more attention, and not in a particularly positive way.  4951

I have a cousin that came out a few years ago and when he did he was loud and proud. I saw it coming (he always posted on facebook about travelling to go see Lady Gaga, Brittany and Madonna) but most of his very conservative, religious family was blind-sided. I don't care that he is flamboyant and such, but I think he does it just to make his family squirm. 4951

I don't understand why the gay has that effect on some but not others. Emoticon 4951

My Dd has a gay roommate and lives in a predominately gay neighborhood.  This is her second gay roommate, and she spends a decent amount of time with the gang of friends.  She says that they are a lot more animated as a group, then alone.  I suspect that's true with a lot of different groups of people though.  Look what happens when you get a bunch of women together or guys watching sports.  4951

i say...o look, dinner and a show :D, i am a people watcher and it is hillarious to me to see the way they carry on, men especially, we were in a resturaunt in SanAntonio and the guy server was a riot, my daughter and I tipped him and he wasnt our server! It was one of those, stop and dance, then get back to what you are doing kind of places.  I also firmly believe there is a time and place, not just for flaming, but everything. 4951

If they have to act out then they are immature and insecure.  Sad.  Definitely they have problems.  I prefer my waiter not act like an idiot; just get the order right  Emoticon 4951
