The whole monopoly issue there strikes me as very corrupt.  I would normally vote yes for legalization, but I'm not sure I could with the caveat that one private for profit entity is given  control of 100% of the supply.  Wonder who they paid off. 4951

Issue 3, a state ballot initiative that would simultaneously legalize
medical and recreational marijuana in Ohio, will be decided Tuesday.
The initiative would authorize 10 predetermined Marijuana Growth,
Cultivation and Extraction facilities to have exclusive permission to
produce cannabis for the state. Investors in these facilities include
former 98 Degrees band member and reality television star Nick Lachey,
Woody Taft, a relative of President William Howard Taft, and National
Football League player Frostee Rucker.

Im all for 100% legalization for adults 21 or over but a free market should remain a free market.

California is the one to watch but if ohio passes those people are going to be rich with that monopoly. When it comes to texas we will be ready to get in the game . 4951

I think both issue 2 and 3 should pass and let the courts deal with the wording. From many of my friends I hear there have been record numbers of people turning up at the polls to vote for the issue and good for them!!! 4951

@ForeCPA90:

This country has enough monopolies. If it's legal, we should be able to grow it like tomatoes.
I have issue with 10 rich guys feeding on people's medical and relaxation preferences.
A bunch of booze guzzling fat cats telling us what we can and can not do is not a free country.
That's the biggest facade of all.
I'm very surprised Texas didn't or hasn't taken the money grab. 4951

Hooray ! it did not pass ! It was knocked out by more than 60 % of the voters. However they said it will be on the ballot again next year , so we will also be watching as we live in Kentucky  just across the river from Ohio & we really do not want that so close to the "blue-grass state " . 4951
