@notfromhere: Depends on how far out in the boonies and how bad he wanted to get his car out. As I've said- I've been in some very very remote places in KY and TN ESP. We're talking hours from a good gravel road. I've been so far out in the boonies that there was no mail delivery, electricity, gas or running water to the very few houses we came across. So yeah- 48k might seem reasonable. Of course if he had come prepared ( or had an ounce of common sense to maybe NOT get himself stuck) then he would've not been charged an arm and a leg.
