www.petfinder.com/Av ailability changes daily. We weren't looking for Yorkies but this is how we found our babies locally, here in the Humble/Kingwood area. It only took us a couple of days to find our perfect furbaby match. Hoping to adopt one, we ended up with a brother and sister pair.
@donnatella:
Im glad you have found your furry babies 😀
And okay I will give it a try and see how it goes .Hopefully we are able to rescue a yorkie
Thank you !!
@IsaiahsMommy: I don't know about the dogs, but the fees for adopting mine were just to cover the shots, which was about $50 a piece. Maybe
@lola can verify the going rate for dog adoption fees, but $400 seems very high. Also, while you are searching, maybe start an adoption fund, and put back just a few bucks, and get creative about funding it. Loose change around the house adds up quickly, sell a couple of things on eBay or at a pawn shop, do some pet sitting, etc.
@donnatella:
Te local,shelters are about that price to range from 50 to 80 but there is this one yorkie and all I fig rescue that is very high in adotion fees .
I have also contacted I believe it's called twylas friends and they told me the adoption fee was 275.
But you have a really good point it's a great idea to start saving up and make a little fund for a yorkie !! Tahbk you !! I will definitely start looking for ways to do that
