Has anyone stopped into this store at the front of kingwood? If so, what do you think of it? If not, why not? 4951

What type of store is this and where is it located? I'm always for supporting a local shop! 4951

Been in ther a couple of times.  I always seemed to be the only one shopping.  They have some unique and very nice things.  Some things are pricey but most is reasonable.   4951

The store is amazing, if you have money. I buy my Brighton in there. The furnishings are beautiful and unique but out of my price range. I recommend dropping in. Place is pretty big snd there is alot to see. Nice place. 4951

Huh - Looked it up on Google. I generally don't like the style of store that sells to the same people who buy Brighton. From the pictures it looks like the same stuff I can get a Hobby Lobby. I will try them though! 4951

You are way off! Don't judge until you visit. This place sells Brighton but the furnishing are not the mass-produced made in China crap that Hobby Lobby sells. This store would cater to a distinguished crowd. 4951

@ET: Agreed! While the front of the store is Brighton jewelry and Vera Bradley bags, they also offer higher end costume and fine jewelry. As you work your way to the back of the store, you see a lot of home décor that range from furniture and custom-made florals, to Safari collections (beautiful sculptures created by African artists using wood from their environment). You can buy baby gifts, picture frames, unique items (like pewter, mantle clocks, gifts for that "someone who has everything"). Prices ranged greatly from $15 to thousands. Definitely pieces I could dream of owning but either couldn't afford or wasn't practical (I was admiring a beautiful grandfather clock and all I could see was the scratches my kids would put in it!).I know I sound like a commercial for them, but I just visited them for the first time yesterday, as I'm writing a story on them. I wanted to hear what others opinions were on them, as well as why, or why not, people had heard of them/visited. Emoticon

You asked why we have been or haven't...I haven't been because although I knew they were there, a store publicizing that they sell Vera Bradley or Brighton will not draw me in - to me that means they offer more mainstream brands/items. Not what I'm looking for in a local boutique. But I will certainly go buy there and see what they have to offer!  4951
